Youth Care Specialist

Job description:

Looking for committed, long-term staff, responsible for the direct supervision and safety of clients ages 9-20. (Will train ambitious caring individuals.)

Full-time Youth Care Specialist positions available.

Must be willing to work weekend and holiday shifts. Weekend shifts are paid a differential rate.

Youth Care Specialist Hours - 2:30-10:30 p.m. on weekdays & 8:00 a.m.-10:30 p.m. on weekends & holidays (will normally work 3 weekday shifts & 1 weekend shift each week).

Starting wages up to $20.50 depending on experience and education. $1.50 per hour pay differential for all weekend shifts.

Physical activity related to caring for clients including ability to physically restrain clients using approved restraint techniques.

Ability to communicate effectively orally and in writing; computer skills including knowledge of word processing, spreadsheets, and e-mail software; possess a valid driver's license and ability to operate a motor vehicle.

Looking for committed, long-term staff.

Full time position. Regular hours are Monday-Friday (8:00 a.m. – 4:30 p.m.). This position also requires occasional evening and weekend hours for events and donor meetings, as well as local travel for donor visits, presentations, and community engagements.


The Director of Development provides strategic leadership for all fundraising, development, and public relations efforts, ensuring sustainable revenue growth and increased community visibility. As a key member of the Administrative Team, the Director of Development oversees all development operations, supervises staff and volunteers, and ensures that fundraising activities align with the organization’s mission and long-term goals.


Qualifications Summary

  1. Bachelor’s degree in a  related field required.
  2. Minimum of five years nonprofit development experience or equivalent combination of education      and experience.
  3. Experience supervising staff and volunteers.
  4. Experience in major gifts and/or gift planning.
  5. Experience with mailing processes (annual appeal mailings, stewardship mailings, campaign      communications).
  6. Strong oral and written      communication skills.
  7. Proficiency with word processing, spreadsheets, email software, and fundraising database systems.
  8. CFRE certification  preferred.
  9. Valid driver’s license and ability to lift up to 40 lbs.
  10. Availability  for occasional evenings, weekends, and local travel.

This role plays a vital part in supporting our mission by offering spiritual counsel, organizing faith-based activities, and ensuring the s

 McCrossan Boys Ranch is seeking a compassionate, faith-driven Chaplain to lead spiritual programming and provide guidance and mentorship to the young men in our care. This role plays a vital part in supporting our mission by offering spiritual counsel, organizing faith-based activities, and ensuring the safety and well-being of residents.


Key Responsibilities:

  • Plan and lead spiritual activities including church services, Bible study, and FCA.
  • Provide individual and group spiritual counseling.
  • Supervise and ensure the safety and security of clients in a residential setting.
  • Present the chaplaincy program to churches and community groups.
  • Coach and mentor clients while setting and enforcing behavioral expectations.
  • Provide transportation for clients as needed.
     

Qualifications:

  • High school diploma or equivalent required.
  • Ministerial license or equivalent required.
  • 1+ year of direct care experience in a juvenile residential facility (or equivalent).
  • Strong communication, organizational, and computer skills.
  • Valid driver’s license and ability to pass required background checks.
  • Ability to meet physical demands, including use of approved restraint techniques.
